Cyber Security Test Engineer

Cyber Security Test Engineer Location: Bedford, MA (Onsite) Employment Type: Contract-to-Hire We are seeking a Cyber Security Test Engineer with experience in application security, vulnerability assessment, and secure software development. This is an excellent opportunity to work alongside engineering teams to identify security risks, validate remediation efforts, and improve the security of innovative software products. Required Skills: 4+ years of experience in Cybersecurity, Application Security, or Software Security Testing Strong programming skills in Python, C/C++, or Bash Experience with application and/or network security testing Hands-on experience with vulnerability assessment and remediation Knowledge of security tools such as Burp Suite, Nessus, Metasploit, or similar Understanding of Secure SDLC and secure coding best practices Experience working in Linux environments Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and documentation skills Preferred: Experience with fuzz testing or exploit validation Knowledge of FDA, HIPAA, ISO 13485, or other regulated environments Security certifications such as OSCP, CEH, or GPEN Experience in Healthcare, Medical Device, or Life Sciences Key Responsibilities: Perform security assessments of software applications Identify, validate, and document security vulnerabilities Partner with development teams to remediate security issues Execute vulnerability verification and regression testing Support secure coding initiatives and software quality improvements Maintain security testing tools and environments Prepare technical documentation for compliance and audit requirements Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance product security Interested candidates: Please share your updated resume along with your contact number, work authorization, current location, and availability.
