Metrology Equipment Engineer

Position Summary Seeking an equipment engineer with a strong focus on establishing and maintaining world‑class process and equipment, implementing yield enhancement, and solving complex problems with effective solutions. The role requires collaboration with a talented team of professionals and strong communication skills. Role and Responsibilities Monitor wafer fabrication equipment and respond to issues. Qualify new manufacturing equipment. Coordinate the scheduling of equipment qualifications and downtime with manufacturing. Use software to analyze data, identify trends, and make decisions about processing products. Make adjustments when equipment parameters are exceeded and monitor process parameters when tools return from maintenance. Execute in‑line changes (CPM) to the process or equipment. Communicate technical information within the department through presentations. Continuously revise Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). Develop improved processes to increase capability. Monitor operations costs and develop cost reduction projects. Skills and Qualifications BS or MS in Chemical, Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial Engineering, Physics, Chemistry, Materials Science, or Computer Science. Cumulative GPA minimum of 3.0. Eligible to work in the United States without sponsorship. Willing to relocate to Austin, Texas. Compensation The current base salary range for this role is between $70,480 and $179,090. Total compensation includes a competitive benefits package and possible participation in incentive compensation programs based on organizational and individual performance.
