Jamaica Hospital Medical Center is seeking an experienced, compassionate RN to provide skilled hospice care focused on comfort, dignity, symptom management, and support for patients and families at the end of life.

Hospice or palliative care experience is strongly preferred. Experienced Oncology, Geriatrics, Med-Surg, and Critical Care RNs with the appropriate clinical background may

WHAT YOU'LL DO

• Assess patients and respond to changing clinical needs
• Manage pain, symptoms, medications, and treatments to maximize comfort
• Develop and coordinate individualized plans of care
• Educate and support patients and families throughout the end-of-life process
• Respond appropriately to urgent or crisis situations
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary hospice team
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation

REQUIREMENTS

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR Current New York State RN license BLS certification required Minimum 2 years of clinical nursing experience Hospice or palliative care experience strongly preferred Oncology, Geriatrics, Med-Surg, or Critical Care experience may also be considered Hospice/Palliative Care certification preferred Strong assessment, communication, and crisis-management skills Genuine commitment to compassionate, dignified end-of-life care
