Acute Care Nurse Practitioner/ Physician Assistant- Hospital Medicine- NEW HOSPITAL- Columbia County

Wellstar Columbia County Hospital, opening in the fall of 2026, will be a full‑service acute care hospital featuring 100 inpatient beds, a LevelII trauma center, a surgical platform, primary‑care offices, and other specialties. The Hospital Medicine Advanced Practice Provider will deliver clinical services to patients in inpatient settings during the night shift (7PM–5AM). Core Responsibilities and Essential Functions The care of patients in inpatient settings. The documentation of clinical care. The documentation and tasks necessary for billing and other administrative functions. Performs other duties as assigned. Position Schedule 7:00PM – 5:00AM. Qualifications All certifications are required upon hire unless otherwise stated. BLS Instructor – Basic Life Support (BLS‑I) BLS – Basic Life Support NP – Nurse Practitioner – requires acute‑care certification CNP – Certified Nurse Practitioner – requires acute‑care certification PA – Physician Assistant RN‑Compact – RN – Multi‑state Compact or RN – Regular Nurse (Single State) Experience Experience requirements were not specified.
