Certified Surgical Technologist

Jackson HealthPros is seeking an experienced Certified Surgical Technologist to expertly assist physicians and nurses in the operating room during surgical procedures. The Surgical Technologist will prepare the operating room, sterilize and set up instruments and supplies, and provide intraoperative support to the surgical team to promote patient safety and efficient case flow. This position is located in Charlotte, NC at a hospital facility with a high-volume operating room program.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Current certification from a program accredited by the National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting (NBSTSA) or equivalent national certification.
• BLS certification.
• Minimum 2 years of OR experience as a Certified Surgical Technologist in a surgical environment.
• Experience with a broad range of specialties, including orthopedics (total joint arthroplasty, arthroscopy, fracture fixation), spine, general surgery (laparoscopic and open), robotic-assisted procedures, gynecology, urology, plastics, and CVOR support preferred.
• For CVOR cases, demonstrated experience in cardiac and vascular cases is preferred.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume operating room. Traveler permanent address must be 50 miles outside of the home unit per facility radius rule.

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior experience in a hospital main OR with multiple rooms and high daily case volume.
• Familiarity with robotic systems and thoracic, vascular, and cardiothoracic procedures.
• Additional certifications relevant to perioperative care are advantageous.

Assignment Details

• Shift hours: 0700-1900.
• Shift pattern: 3x12.
• Traveler may be required to adhere to facility radius rule (permanent address must be 50 miles outside of home unit).
