Job Overview
A law firm seeks a Corporate Finance Associate to join their New York City office. The ideal candidate will have 3 to 5 years of finance experience, stellar academic credentials, and comparable law firm experience. Admission to the bar and good standing in the state of practice are required.
Duties
- Advise clients on accessing and deploying capital across borders and industries.
- Participate in debt restructuring matters for both debtors and creditors.
- Structure financing solutions for stressed and distressed companies.
- Work on leveraged buyouts and cross-border acquisitions.
- Engage in senior secured debt and asset-based facilities transactions.
Requirements
- 3 to 5 years of finance experience in a law firm setting.
- Stellar academic credentials.
- Admission to the bar and good standing in the state of practice.
Education
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree.
Certifications
- Bar admission in the state of practice.
Skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
