Each year over 5 million people visit Williamsburg and another 20 million engage with us digitally.The Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for providing leadership, technical support, and guidance to Maintenance Technicians. Types of work will include but are not limited to mechanical, electrical, plumbing, structural, finishes, pools, electronics, and service of various equipment normally found in a commercial kitchen or hotel environment. The Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for team compliance with shop rules, bargaining unit stipulations, timekeeping rules, safety regulations, and compliance with CWF policies and procedures.Responsibilities include but are not limited to:Directing the activities of a maintenance team in a hotel environment.Monitoring conditions of buildings and acting on signs of trouble.Prioritizing and assigning tasks to technicians and contractors.Perform troubleshooting and repairs on various types of mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and other systems found in a hotel environment.Monitor team performance and provide training or support as needed.Manage project work carried out by staff or contractors.Ensures compliance with state and federal regulatory requirements.Follow internal policies and procedures to ensure a safe working environment.Maintains proficiency in the field through ongoing training.Communicate fluidly with department managers and guests.This is a non-exempt position, eligible to receive overtime in accordance with the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA).
