Minimum Qualifications - For full consideration, applicants are encouraged to upload license and/or certification if required of the position

• California Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW)
• Possession of a Clinical Social Worker License issued by the California Board of Behavioral Sciences Examiners.
• Masters Degree in Social Work from an accredited School of Social Work.
• Experience reviewing and evaluating clinical documentation and coaching staff on quality improvement activities through direct observations.
• Previous experience with teaching or training others (e.g. clinicians, students, practitioners) in areas related to mental health identification or treatment.
• 2 years Social Work experience in correctional setting.
• Advanced skills in Windows-based software programs (Word, Excel, Power Point, etc.).
• Thorough knowledge and experience completing biopsychosocial assessments and determining diagnosis according to DSM-5 TR.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous QI experience and ability to perform analyses and report results

Department Overview

Adult Correctional Mental Health (ACMH) is a satellite contract program of the Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences. The program provides mental health services to incarcerated individuals at the two Sacramento County jails located in downtown Sacramento and in Elk Grove.

Work Environment
