Therapist - Respiratory Therapist

Job Summary:
Seeking experienced Respiratory Therapist to support NICU and adult patients in a hospital setting. The role involves utilizing advanced respiratory care skills to deliver high-quality patient treatment.
Responsibilities:
- Administer respiratory therapies including CPAP, High Flow Nasal Cannula, and Bubble CPAP to neonatal and adult patients.
- Operate and maintain specialized equipment such as Hamilton C1, V60 ventilators, and Hamilton MR1.
- Document patient care accurately using Meditech documentation system.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Monitor patient responses and adjust treatments accordingly to ensure optimal outcomes.
- Comply with hospital policies, safety protocols, and unit-specific guidelines.
Qualifications:
- Possess a valid RRT credential and at least 2 years of general respiratory therapy experience.
- Demonstrate NICU experience with skills in ventilator management and high-acuity care.
- Hold current BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications (or obtain after hire).
- Be able to perform advanced procedures on neonatal and adult patients.
- Exhibit strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Be willing to work 3-12 hour shifts including every other weekend.
