Pinx Catering is looking for an experienced and reliable Catering Server to work at our regular corporate and private events. This position will also include working in our offices and assisting our Logistics team in preparing for and cleaning up after our events.

This is an on-call position and can range from part-time to full-time hours depending on your availability and our event schedule. You will help transport food and supplies to the venue, set up tables and food service equipment, serve guests, and clean up once the event is over. Our ideal candidate has at least one year of hospitality-related experience, preferably with upscale events. We are looking for self-motivated people who possess a sense of urgency. You must have a food handler's license (or must obtain one within 30 days of hire), reliable transportation, a clean driving record, and a flexible schedule.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Responsible for event preparation, set up and closing

• Transport food and supplies to the venue

• Set up for foodservice

• Serve clients with food and beverages in a positive and friendly manner

• Return to our offices to put all equipment away

• Adhere to safety and quality regulations

• Maintain composure in a fast-paced environment

• Anticipate guests’ needs and exceed customer service expectations.

• Present in professional appearance and mannerisms.

• Performs other related duties as assigned by management

QUALIFICATIONS:

• 1+ year of hospitality-related experience

• Excellent communication skills

• Able to take direction

• Flexible schedule

• Reliable transportation

Hourly Pay: $18.00 to $30.00
