Head of Sell-Side M&A

EPL Advisory is a boutique M&A firm in Miami specializing in founder-centric sell-side transactions across B2B technology, dual-use/defense, energy, and manufacturing. Senior partners lead every mandate from origination through close. We take on a limited number of engagements and execute at institutional standards. We are looking for a senior sell-side banker to own mandate origination and execution as Head of Sell-Side M&A. You will work directly alongside EPL's founding partners, lead your own deal pipeline, and help build the firm's sell-side platform in the lower middle market. Compensation is success-fee revenue share only. This is a partner-level role structured for an experienced originator, not an execution resource. Tasks Source and win exclusive sell-side mandates from founder and family-owned businesses in the $5M to $50M EV range Lead full sell-side processes end-to-end: CIPs, financial models, buyer qualification, management presentations, LOI and purchase agreement negotiation Build and maintain coverage of LMM-active PE sponsors and strategic acquirers across your target verticals Partner with EPL leadership on firm strategy, process standards, and platform development Mentor team members as the practice scales Requirements 10+ years of investment banking experience with a primary sell-side M&A focus Demonstrated track record originating mandates independently, not solely executing deals sourced by others Deep sector knowledge in one or more of: B2B tech, dual-use/defense, energy, or industrial manufacturing Valid FINRA Series 79 and 63 (or ability to obtain; hosting available through Finalis Securities LLC) Ability to guide owners through high-stakes, emotionally complex sale processes with credibility and composure Autonomous operator: able to manage multiple mandates simultaneously without institutional support infrastructure Benefits 100% success-fee revenue share (on retainers and success fess). No base salary. Terms negotiated individually based on origination and execution contribution. For a partner closing 3 to 5 transactions annually in this segment, total compensation is commensurate with senior boutique banking. #J-18808-Ljbffr
