• Patient Population: Adolescent, adult, and geriatric behavioral health
• Dress Code: Royal blue scrubs

Job Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Minimum of 2 years of recent behavioral health or psychiatric nursing experience
• Experience with de-escalation techniques strongly preferred
• Handle With Care or CPI experience is a plus
• Comfortable floating between behavioral health units as needed
• Ability to work every other weekend
• Experience with EHR documentation and medication administration systems preferred

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, therapeutic, and patient-centered care to behavioral health patients
• Support adolescent, adult, and geriatric psychiatric units as assigned
• Monitor patient condition and respond appropriately to changing clinical needs
• Use effective de-escalation and crisis-intervention techniques
• Accurately document care in the electronic health record (EHR)
• Administer medications and support treatment plans according to clinical protocols
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team to promote a positive healing environment
