Pharmacy TechnicianLancaster, WI Position Details:Able to verify patient information on prescription is complete and accurateEnters prescription into pharmacy software system, prepares prescription, labels container, price and file the prescription to be checked by the pharmacist before it is given to the patientEstablish and maintain patient filesPrepare and file insurance claimsStock and inventory prescription medicationSkills:Ability to work cooperatively with pharmacy and store staffEducation:Certification required within one year of date of hire by the Pharmacy Technician Certification BoardCertification must be renewed every two yearsTwenty hours of continuing education, including one hour of Pharmacy Law, for certificate renewal
