Sr. Software Engineer

What You’ll Do Design, build, and maintain tools that streamline operations and knowledge management. Lead requirements gathering, user engagement, and solution delivery — from concept to deployment. Develop and test software for real-time environments and mission applications. Analyze system performance and recommend improvements that make an actual impact. Build workflows, automate processes, and simplify information flow across teams. Help shape rollout and adoption strategies for new software tools. ⚙️ What You Bring 13+ years of professional software engineering experience (or 12+ with a Master’s). Strong background in Python , scripting, and automation. Expertise in web-based technologies like HTML, object-oriented frameworks, and CMS platforms. Hands-on experience with DevOps, CI/CD, or Agile environments. Deep familiarity with system analysis, debugging, and real-time application development . A collaborative mindset and the ability to translate technical needs into real solutions. Bonus Skills That Impress Experience with SecDevOps and configuration/change management tools (CMMI, etc.). Building SharePoint workflows or knowledge management systems. Background in international or interagency operations . Network automation or embedded system development.
