Construction Project Manager

We are seeking a Project Manager with experience supporting higher education capital projects from the owner's perspective. The ideal candidate will be a collaborative leader with strong project management skills and experience coordinating architects, engineers, contractors, university stakeholders, and end users throughout the project lifecycle. This individual should be a proactive problem solver who can manage budgets, schedules, risks, and stakeholder expectations while ensuring projects align with institutional goals. Experience working within complex campus environments and navigating the unique challenges of higher education planning, design, and construction is highly preferred. Minimum of 8 years of project management experience with a demonstrated ability to lead and coordinate multiple project teams while successfully managing project scope, budget, schedule, risk, and overall project delivery. Experience serving in an owner's representative, program management, facilities, capital projects, or institutional project management role is preferred. Experience supporting higher education, campus development, facilities operations, or similar complex stakeholder environments is highly desirable. Proven ability to build relationships, facilitate collaboration among diverse stakeholders, and effectively manage competing priorities in a fast‑paced environment. Strong communication, organizational, and problem‑solving skills with the ability to drive projects to successful completion. Technical Skills: Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint. Experience with cloud-based project management information systems (PMIS) such as Procore, e-Builder, or similar platforms. Strong understanding of construction drawings, specifications, and project schedules. Working knowledge of contract administration and change order processes. Additional Qualities (a plus, but not required): Professional certifications such as PMP, LEED AP, or CCM. Familiarity with integrated project delivery methods (e.g., CMAR, Design‑Build). Excellent leadership and communication skills with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships. Ability to manage multiple concurrent projects effectively.
