Principal Systems Engineer – Architecture and RequirementsThe Systems Engineering and Test Center (SETC) organization is currently hiring a Principal Systems Engineer – Architecture and Requirements in Cameo to join our Tucson, AZ location programs. Join our organization and experience the Systems V engineering life cycle while interfacing with a variety of engineering disciplines, subject matter experts, chief engineers, chief technologists, the customer, and so many more to ensure we design, integrate, and strengthen our systems to work the first time and every time for our warfighters!As a Principal Systems Engineer – Architecture and Requirements in Cameo you will be in a technical role contributing directly to the architecture and requirements development and decomposition of complex subsystems, developing the verification approach, and oversight of created verification artifacts. You will engage with cross-functional teams such as Software, Hardware, Safety, Reliability, Quality, and Manufacturing in coordination with the Office of the Chief on a variety of program technical tasks. Tucson-based programs are a collection of rapid development programs resulting in a fast-paced environment that includes missiles and launchers on various ground, air, and vehicle platforms, and gunner training equipment.This role is fully Onsite in Tucson, AZ.What You Will DoCreate and manage systems architecture, requirements, interface definitions & description documents, system integration, and system verification using Cameo by collaborating with multiple IPTLs and SMEs to obtain necessary design informationWork with Suppliers and the Supply Chain organization for procured items managed through the role of Responsible Engineering Authority (REA) for that AssemblySupport flight test activities both in potential field support, telemetry analysis post-flight, and writing test reportsProvide SE technical expertise in development, integration, troubleshooting and failure investigationsLead technical discussions, and formulate plans of action by leveraging company Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) across multiple engineering disciplinesSupport Statistical Process Control assessments in the factory and as part of hardware verification of missile sections and launch platforms as well as at higher level assembliesLead peer reviews and formal release of CDRLs and Technical Data Package documentsQualifications You Must HaveTypically requires bachelor's degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of (8) eight years of relevant prior experienceExperience working with SMEs, CEs, LSEs, TAs, IPTLs, REAs, and other program stakeholders to make informed technical design decisionsExperience in leading the definition, decomposition, and verification approach of requirements through specification release using MBSE tools such as CameoExperience leading the definition and decomposition of System of Systems functional and physical architecture using MBSE tools such as CameoExperience in 3 or more areas of the Systems-V modelQualifications We PreferAn advanced degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Math, or PhysicsExperience with cPDM, CCB, and document release experience (engineering and formal release)Experience with requirements management using CameoExperience creating and linking requirements, architecture, and verification artifacts in CameoExperience with system and sub-system level requirements development, design and documentation of system level software architectureExperience in 4 or more areas of the Systems-V modelExperience demonstrating your communication, technical writing, oral presentation and interpersonal skills with customers and leading technical solutions to complex user needsAbility to manage multiple and competing prioritiesStrong interpersonal and communication skillsFamiliarity with military systems; tactics, techniques, and proceduresFamiliarity with DoD/DoW customer infrastructure and Systems Engineering Product Development CycleAbility to travel on occasion (10% travel time maximum)What We OfferOur values drive our actions, behaviors, and performance with a vision for a safer, more connected world.
