Job Category Engineering & Science Position Summary This is an entry-level, Product Design Engineer that plays a critical role in supporting the on-time delivery of 3D CAD models and engineering drawings used for virtual tire development, performance analysis, and mold tooling creation. You will thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment where you'll leverage advanced PTC Creo modeling techniques to develop intelligent digital product definitions and help drive innovation across the tire development process. Responsibilities Develop best in class, fully robust, parametric CAD models that are driven through equations, relations, and logic-based programming Interact with a cross functional development team to define, analyze, and predict tire tread performance using our in-house developed tools, and FEA software Be an active contributor in developing, refining, and optimizing our modeling best practices Learn new ways of doing things from some of the most highly skilled Creo users in the area in our regular training sessions Work with a highly motivated, and supportive team Grow your skill set, develop PTC Creo mastery, and become a mentor to others within Bridgestone Minimum Qualifications Bachelor’s degree; or equivalent work experience Experience with CREO modeling or equivalent is preferred At Bridgestone, you are Free to Be We believe people can only provide superior service and quality to others when they feel safe bringing their chosen version of themselves to work.
