Production Support Engineer

HART Technologies, Inc. is seeking a talented Engineer for a mechanical engineering opening. This position is in direct support of DoD Projects. Responsibilities Work as part of a multidisciplinary team of Engineers to deliver integrated products and services including: design and development along with integration, test and delivery, and creation of technical documentation. Specific production support tasks include: Review Requests for Variance and Deviations from production data packages and present to approving authorities. Investigate production problem reports, prepare necessary technical data package changes, and present for approval. Work with government and vendors to investigate equipment failures and provide solutions. Create 3D models of production components to aid analysis. Review proposed changes to equipment and processes to improve manufacturability and provide cost savings. Provide engineering analysis of mechanical components and systems due to failures or proposed changes. Assist with Physical Configuration Audits. Qualifications Required: Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in Mechanical Engineering or related field. 3-7 Years Experience in Mechanical Engineering field. Proficiency with 3D Modeling / Design and evaluation tools (e.g. SolidWorks, Ansys, Nastran). Ability to travel US citizenship and the ability to obtain a DoD security clearance. Familiarity with government technical data packages. Active DoD Secret Level Security clearance. Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio).
