This role is a leadership position responsible for developing and executing global category sourcing strategies, managing supplier relationships, and driving value creation while ensuring quality and compliance.This role will be responsible for leading the sourcing of Professional Services category which includes:HR services and technologyIT, Financial, and legal servicesBusiness consultingFacilities servicesContingent laborTravel servicesLet’s break down that day-in-the-life a bit more.Category Sourcing Strategy Development:Develop and implement sourcing strategies for assigned categories to optimize cost, quality, and serviceSupplier Management:Identify, evaluate, and manage supplier relationships. Lead negotiations and performance reviews to ensure alignment with business goalsMarket Analysis:Conduct market research and benchmarking to stay informed of industry trends, risks, and opportunitiesCross-Functional Collaboration:Partner with internal stakeholders (e.g., Finance, Legal, Operations) to understand business needs and ensure procurement strategies align with organizational objectivesContract Management:Lead contract negotiations and ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirementsCost Optimization:Identify and deliver cost-saving opportunities through strategic sourcing, demand management, and process improvementsPeople Management:Develop and lead a global team of 2-4 direct reportsRisk Management:Assess and mitigate risks, ensuring business continuity and supplier resilienceWhat do you need to succeed?We all have unique skills that we bring to work and celebrate every day.
