Responsibilities:

• Manage an active caseload from inception through resolution.
• Conduct legal research and draft pleadings, motions, discovery, legal memoranda, and correspondence.
• Represent clients at hearings, mediations, depositions, and settlement conferences.
• Communicate with clients to provide case updates and legal guidance.
• Negotiate settlements with opposing counsel, insurance carriers, and other parties.
• Prepare cases for trial and assist with trial proceedings as needed.
• Review case files to identify legal issues, develop litigation strategies, and ensure compliance with court deadlines.
• Collaborate with attorneys, paralegals, and support staff to provide exceptional client service.
• Maintain accurate billing records and case documentation.
• Stay current on changes in applicable laws, court rules, and legal procedures.

Qualifications:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.
• Active membership in good standing with the Nevada State Bar.
• Excellent legal research, writing, and analytical skills.
• Strong oral advocacy and negotiation abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Professional demeanor with excellent interpersonal and client communication skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and legal case management software.

Spanish fluency (speaking and writing) is preferred.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in civil litigation, personal injury, probate, estate planning, or related practice areas is a plus.
• Courtroom, deposition, and mediation experience preferred but not required for exceptional candidates.
