Patient Technician

Adventist Rehabilitation White Oak (Musgrove) Team seeks to hire a Patient Technician who will embrace our mission to extend God's care through the ministry of physical, mental and spiritual healing. As a Patient Technician, you will:

• Facilitate patient enrollment in outpatient programs through accurate capture of patient information (clinical and demographic) via electronic and paper means.
• Answer phones and perform scheduling functions courteously and promptly using customer-centered language.
• Assist the therapy team members with the delivery of hands-on care as directed and instructed.
• Maintain the department cleanliness and supplies through cleaning, organizing, stocking, and ordering materials and supplies.
• Participate in tasks such as faxing, scanning, report generation, and other administrative tasks as requested and instructed.
• Additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications include:

• High School Diploma or equivalent, preferred associate degree in health-related field.
• Preferred 1-2 years' experience in a customer-facing role in healthcare.

• Employment Type: Part-time
• Hours per Week: 20 hrs per week
• Holiday Requirements: Follow company holiday calendar
• On-Call: No

Pay Range:

$19.21 - $24.90

If the salary range is listed as $0 or if the position is Per Diem (with a fixed rate), salary discussions will take place during the screening process.

Tobacco and Drug Statement

Tobacco use is a well-recognized preventable cause of death in the United States and an important public health issue.
