Manager Behavioral Health Community Support Program - Ben Gordon

Salary Range The salary range for this position is $44.21 - $66.31 (Hourly Rate). Placement within the salary range is dependent on relevant work experience, internal equity, and collective bargaining agreements for union‐represented positions. Benefits

Matching 401(k) Excellent medical, dental and vision coverage Life insurance Annual Employee Salary Increase and Incentive Bonus Paid time off and Holiday pay Description The Manager Behavioral Health Community Support Program reflects the mission, vision, and values of NM, adheres to the organization’s Code of Ethics and Corporate Compliance Program, and complies with all relevant policies, procedures, guidelines and regulatory and accreditation standards. Under the direction of the Clinical Program Director of Ben Gordon, and with the cooperation of the Medical Directors, this position implements and supervises clinical and managerial aspects of all assigned departments, including coordination of patient care, staff selection and development, operating standards and procedures, business operations and development, compliance and regulatory functions, and community development efforts. Responsibilities General Operations: Oversee the Ben Gordon programs: case management, community support team, and permanent supportive housing. Responsible for daily program operations that produce positive patient experience and outcomes. Lead by example and help all employees connect NM values to their daily work. Create an environment of partnership, collaboration, seamless quality and service enhancement across teams, departments, and divisions of the organization. Stay informed of current and emerging issues and trends for areas of accountability. Communication: Use timely and effective communication methods to update staff on departmental and organizational priorities and progress. Create a culture of respectful communication by listening, demonstrating approachability, and inclusion. Demonstrate ability to communicate effectively across departments, community, and all levels of management. Clinical Operations: Provide clinical and operational leadership within the team and across Ben Gordon teams as needed. Carry a patient caseload when necessary and conduct thorough assessments, interventions, and plans; facilitate group counseling and provide education to patients and families. Supervise meetings so that clinical, non‑medical, and medical information is integrated for positive patient care. Review clinical documentation for accuracy and oversee the team’s patient caseload. Identify staff skills, provide constructive feedback, and address performance gaps with clear action plans and timelines. Business Operations: Oversee multiple cost centers, manage income and expense, and secure grant funding as applicable. Track cost‑center productivity and outcomes. Practice fiscal accountability and identify ideas for efficiency, cost savings, and new business development. Measure and monitor budget and business development plans, provide updates to Director and staff. Achieve or exceed budget and business growth and profitability targets. Compliance and Regulatory Oversight: Set clear expectations for continuous quality and service improvement. Ensure adherence to regulatory and accreditation standards (HOD, SUPR, TJC, Medicaid, CMHC as applicable). Report grant performance measures and deliverables on a quarterly and monthly basis. Conduct basic clinical and utilization review of staff documentation to assure compliance with care guidelines. NM System and Community Partnerships: Establish and maintain collaborative partnerships within the NM system and the community. Develop additional referral relationships within the NM system and community providers. Qualifications Required Master’s Degree in Behavioral Health. Five years of supervised clinical experience in a behavioral health setting or related field. Licensed to practice independently (LCPC, LCSW, LMFT, or Clinical Psychologist). Ability to work evenings and on‑call as requested. Advanced verbal and written communication skills. Valid driver’s license. Ability to travel to and from multiple work sites. Preferred Master’s Degree in Behavioral Health with LCPC, LCSW, or LMFT. Supervisory or management experience with case management, community support teams, or permanent supportive housing. Bi‑Lingual. Experience with EPIC (EMR). Experience with Microsoft Excel.
