Bower Surf Club is looking for experienced, dependable, and hardworking PM Line Cooks, Prep Cooks, and Dishwashers to join our culinary team in Santa Monica!
Bower Surf Club brings together California Coastal cuisine with influences from Australian café culture, Mediterranean flavors, and Southeast Asian flavors. We’re building a team that values great food, organization, teamwork, and genuine hospitality.
Positions Available:- PM Line Cooks
- PM Prep Cooks
- PM Dishwashers
- Previous line cook, prep cook, dishwasher, kitchen, or food service experience preferred
- Strong knife skills and food preparation knowledge for culinary positions
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen
- Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented
- Strong attention to detail and organization
- Ability to maintain a clean and organized workstation
- Knowledge of proper food handling, sanitation, labeling, rotation, and FIFO procedures
- Availability to work PM shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Food Handler Certification or ability to obtain one
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift/carry up to 50 pounds
COMPENSATION:
Line Cook: $23.00/hour + tips
Prep Cook: $20.00/hour + tips
Dishwasher: $19.00/hour + tips

PUESTOS DISPONIBLES- Cocinero de Línea – Turno PM
- Cocinero de Preparación – Turno PM
- Lavaplatos – Turno PM
- Experiencia previa como cocinero de línea, cocinero de preparación, lavaplatos o en servicios de alimentos es preferida
- Buen manejo de cuchillos y conocimientos de preparación de alimentos para puestos de cocina
- Capacidad para trabajar de manera eficiente en una cocina de ritmo rápido
- Ser responsable, puntual y trabajar bien en equipo
- Atención al detalle y buena organización
- Capacidad para mantener un área de trabajo limpia y organizada
- Conocimiento del manejo adecuado de alimentos, sanidad, etiquetado, rotación y procedimientos FIFO
- Disponibilidad para trabajar turnos PM, incluyendo noches, fines de semana y días festivos
- Certificado de Manipulación de Alimentos (Food Handler) o disponibilidad para obtenerlo
- Capacidad para permanecer de pie durante períodos prolongados y levantar/cargar hasta 50 libras
Cocinero de Línea: $23.00 por hora + propinas
Cocinero de Preparación: $20.00 por hora + propinas
Lavaplatos: $19.00 por hora + propinas
