Associate Photographer – Detroit, MI Overview CoStar Group is a leading provider of commercial and residential real estate information, analytics, and online marketplaces. The role supports Homes.com and Apartments.com by capturing high‑quality photos, 3‑D virtual tours, and floor plans of residential properties. Responsibilities Capture 3‑D virtual tours and floor plans of residential homes and apartments using Matterport Pro3 cameras. Take high‑resolution photographs for marketing purposes on Homes.com and Apartments.com. Maintain a core territory and meet scheduled appointment dates and times. Coordinate with scheduling and dispatch teams to optimize appointments and meet client demands. Communicate professionally with clients, sales associates, researchers, and management. When not photographing, navigate one‑mile square grids to verify commercial property coverage, identify missing inventory, and photograph qualifying properties. Adhere to CoStar safety standards for all equipment and vehicle use. Participate in conference calls with sales and research teams as required. Physical Requirements Repetitive sitting in a car; standing and walking for up to 8 hours daily; lifting and transporting up to 5 pounds; occasional bending, stooping, squatting, twisting, and carrying; ability to work outdoors year‑round; willingness to work weekends on a rotating schedule. Qualifications At least 2 years of professional photography experience, preferably in real estate. Valid driver’s license and satisfactory driving record. Proficiency with Matterport Pro3, DSLR or mirrorless cameras, and iPad. Experience with drone photography and FAA Part 107 license or ability to obtain within 30 days. Strong time‑management, organizational, and communication skills. Proficiency with Windows, Microsoft Office, and internet applications; familiarity with Apple iOS products. High school diploma or GED required; degree in photography or related field preferred. Customer‑service orientation and ability to work independently in a fast‑paced environment. Compensation Base salary: $49,000 – $50,000 per year (or equivalent hourly rate).
