Maintenance Specialist (1st Shift)

Maintenance Specialist – Roche Diabetes Care In this role, you will support plant manufacturing operations by troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining electro‑mechanical equipment used in the production of diabetes care products. Key Responsibilities Perform electrical or mechanical troubleshooting to identify problems in non‑functioning equipment. Dismantle, adjust, repair, and assemble equipment according to layout plans, blueprints, and operating manuals. Use test and diagnostic equipment to execute check‑outs and rebuild manufacturing equipment as required. Execute equipment modifications directed by manufacturing engineers, including installation, validation support, and start‑up of new equipment and decommissioning activities. Conduct preventive maintenance tasks according to detailed procedures and schedules. Provide emergency call‑in support for off‑hour operations and maintain accurate records of all activities. Apply predictive maintenance technologies to improve operational efficiencies. Maintain and continuously improve the quality system and achieve quality objectives through daily actions. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent. Minimum 4years of related operations or manufacturing experience. In‑depth knowledge of company policies and procedures. Basic computer skills. Documented experience troubleshooting and repairing electrical, mechanical, and pneumatic systems. Associate degree or equivalent military training (preferred). Ability to adapt procedures, processes, tools, equipment, and techniques for more complex requirements. Compensation Annual pay range (Indianapolis): $54,300–$100,800 USD, based on experience and qualifications. A discretionary annual bonus may be available.
