We are one of the largest and busiest Farmers Insurance agencies in Northern California, serving a substantial and growing customer base. Our fast-paced environment requires experienced insurance professionals who are organized, accountable, customer-focused, and capable of handling a high volume of activity.

We are looking for an experienced Personal Lines Account Manager who wants to be part of a successful organization and contribute to a team that takes pride in delivering exceptional service.

Spanish/English bilingual ability is highly preferred.

The Opportunity

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced insurance professional who enjoys a fast-paced, high-performance environment and wants to work alongside a strong team of insurance professionals.

You will be responsible for servicing an established book of personal lines customers while helping maintain the high level of service and responsiveness our customers have come to expect.

Responsibilities

Provide exceptional service to existing personal lines customers

Handle policy changes, endorsements, billing questions, certificates and other service requests

Review customer policies and identify potential coverage needs

Assist with renewals and retention efforts

Communicate with customers by phone, email and in person

Develop strong, long-term customer relationships

Work closely with producers and other account managers

Maintain accurate and organized customer and policy records

Follow agency procedures and carrier requirements

Proactively follow up on outstanding customer requests

Identify opportunities to round accounts and cross-sell additional insurance products

Assist with resolving customer issues and concerns

Maintain a professional, positive and service-oriented attitude

Requirements

Active California P&C or Personal Lines insurance license required

Insurance industry experience required

Personal lines experience strongly preferred

Spanish speaking/bilingual strongly preferred

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Strong customer-service skills

Highly organized and detail-oriented

Strong computer skills and ability to learn new software quickly

Comfortable working with multiple computer systems and applications

Strong typing skills — minimum 40 words per minute preferred

Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines

Ability to work independently while contributing to a team environment
