Parts Associate Solar Refrigeration & Appliance Service, Inc. is seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Parts Associate to join our team. This full-time position plays a vital role in supporting our service operations by ensuring technicians have the correct parts when they need them and maintaining accurate inventory records.

Responsibilities

• Order appliance parts from manufacturers and authorized distributors

• Track parts from order placement through delivery

• Receive, verify, and process incoming shipments

• Maintain accurate inventory and parts records

• Research part availability, substitutions, and backorder status

• Coordinate with service technicians and office staff to ensure timely parts availability

• Return defective or unused parts in accordance with vendor procedures

• Maintain a clean, organized parts room and warehouse

• Assist with inventory counts and stock replenishment

• Communicate proactively with vendors regarding shipping delays and order issues

Qualifications

• Previous experience in parts, inventory, purchasing, warehouse, or appliance/HVAC/automotive industries preferred

• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

• Excellent communication and customer service skills

• Ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment

• Proficiency with computers and inventory management software

• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds

• Dependable, self-motivated, and a team player
