Calvary is a warm and friendly Southern Baptist Church seeking to bring Christ to our community. Requirements The Candidate The Senior Pastor is responsible to the church to proclaim the gospel of Jesus Christ, to teach the Biblical revelation as the inerrant and inspired Word of God, to engage in and oversee pastoral care ministries, and to provide administrative leadership in all areas of church life. The ideal candidate will be: Biblical Preacher and Teacher: A Southern Baptist committed to the inerrancy of Scripture, skilled in preaching for diverse audiences. Relational Shepherd and Leader: Builds strong community ties across demographics, balancing tradition with growth through collaborative leadership. Servant-Hearted Visionary: Prioritizes pastoral care, outreach, and evangelism with Christlike humility, engaging both older and younger congregants effectively.
