License & Certifications: Active RN license. Required certification: BLS . Clinical & Unit Overview Unit Details: MS Float unit combining 61 beds across surgical patients (total joints, fractures, bariatric, urology, general) and medical patients (CHF, CVA, SOB, diabetes). Patient Ratios: Days: 1:5 ; Nights: 1:6 . Nurse aides ratio is 1:15 . Monitoring & Equipment: Monitor tech reads telemetry strips, RN confirms. Handles CPAP, BiPAP, and high-flow oxygen equipment. No titration of drips required. Floating & Requirements: Floating is required as part of the MS Float pool.
