Description What You Will Do

• Execute both routine and specialized laboratory tests across various disciplines including chemistry, hematology, immunology, and more, adhering to established protocols.
• Scrutinize test results for their accuracy, diagnose discrepancies, and ensure consistent performance of maintenance and calibration on laboratory equipment.
• Support with specimen collection and prepare samples for analysis as necessary.
• Meticulously document all procedures, assist in onboarding new staff or students, and help sustain the lab's quality standards.
• Uphold a safe, clean workspace and follow all regulatory and accreditation criteria.

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Clinical or Medical Laboratory Science, or equivalent allied health degree plus preparation for ASCP/AMT certification.

Certifications

• ASCP or AMT Board Certification in Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS) to be obtained within the first year of employment.
• Maintain valid certification throughout your tenure.
