Event Marketing Manager
Propheticsoftware
Prophetic Software is not able to sponsor employment visas now or in the future. Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States without current or future sponsorship to be considered for this role. About Prophetic: Real estate development is a multi‑billion‑dollar industry that has run on fragmented data, manual processes, and gut instinct for decades. Prophetic is changing that. We're building the AI‑native platform that enables homebuilders, developers, and investors to find, analyze, and act on land opportunities from a single system — powered by proprietary technologies that process billions of data points across all 50 states. We are the market leader in our space, and our customers don't just use the product — they love it. We're not making teams more efficient. We're changing how they operate. Prophetic is scaling fast — demand is outpacing our ability to hire, and we're just getting started. This is a once‑in‑a‑lifetime team: sharp, low ego, deeply collaborative, and obsessed with building the best product in the industry. Come disrupt an industry with us. About the Role: Events are where our market meets us in person. A builder who has read three emails becomes a real conversation across a booth. A skeptical developer watches a five‑minute demo and changes their mind. This role owns those moments, from deciding which rooms are worth being in to making sure everything works once we are in them. You will own the events program end to end. That means the strategy at the top, deciding where we sponsor, speak, attend, or skip, and tying every dollar of spend to real pipeline. It means the creative middle, the field events and scrappy activations that get Prophetic talked about without always paying for the official sponsorship. And it means the execution at the ground level, the logistics, vendors, staffing, and run of show that turn a calendar of conferences into qualified deals. This is a hands‑on role for someone who can build the plan and then run it. You will report to the Head of Marketing and work closely with Sales, Account Management, design, and demand generation, plus our leadership team when they take the stage. Our events strategy is young and the field is wide open. You will build the playbook as you go. What You'll Do: Strategy and Portfolio Own the annual events calendar and the decision behind every line on it: sponsor, speak, attend, or skip. Evaluate each opportunity against our ideal customer profile and our pipeline goals, and build the case to add new events or cut the ones that do not perform. Secure and support speaking slots for our leadership and customers at the events that matter most. Sponsorships and ROI Evaluate and negotiate sponsorship packages, booths, and partnerships, and decide what level of spend earns its place. Tie every event to pipeline and cost per opportunity, and report on what worked, what did not, and what we do differently next time. Field and Guerrilla Marketing Run local and regional events: dinners, meetups, customer gatherings, and roadshows. Design creative, scrappy activations around the industry's biggest shows, the kind that get talked about on a startup budget. Find the unexpected ways to reach builders and developers where they already are. Execution and Logistics Manage the full run of show: booth builds, shipping, collateral, vendors, travel, and on‑site staffing. Coordinate with design on booth and materials, and with Sales on who works each event and how. Own the details so the team can focus on conversations, not logistics. Pipeline and Follow‑Up Build badge scan and lead capture processes that feed clean data into HubSpot. Partner with demand generation on pre and post event campaigns that convert conversations into demos, so no lead from an event goes cold. Throughout Use AI tooling daily for research, planning, content, and workflow. What You Need: 5 to 7 years in event marketing, field marketing, or trade show management, B2B preferred. A track record of building and running a multi‑event portfolio, not just executing someone else's plan. Proven ability to evaluate sponsorships and connect event spend to pipeline and ROI. You know the difference between a booth that looks busy and a booth that produces deals. Strong on‑site execution under pressure: logistics, vendors, staffing, and run of show. Budget ownership and a sharp eye for what is worth the money. A scrappy, creative streak and real comfort with guerrilla tactics, not just official sponsorships. Proactive mindset. You notice the gap and fill it before anyone asks. Self‑starter who thrives in ambiguity and manages multiple events and deadlines at once. Comfort with AI tooling as part of your daily workflow. Willing to travel for events. Nice to Have: Experience in a technical or considered‑purchase category, ideally real estate, proptech, construction, or fintech. Familiarity with the homebuilder and developer event circuit, including shows like IBS and PCBC. Familiarity with HubSpot or similar marketing and CRM platforms for lead capture and attribution. Experience managing executive and customer speakers, from securing slots to prepping the talk. Experience scaling an events program at a high‑growth startup. Why Prophetic: The team. Wide expertise, sharp, low ego, and genuinely fun to work with. We have each other's backs and we celebrate wins together. Real ownership and impact from day one. Our customers make million‑dollar decisions on our platform. Your work matters immediately. AI‑native product and AI‑native workflows. Every team — engineering, sales, operations — runs on AI tooling daily. Founder‑led transparency. Leadership shares the financials, the strategy, and the hard calls with the whole team. High growth, high demand. The product works, customers love it, and we are hiring to keep up. No shortage of opportunity here. Flexibility. Remote, hybrid, or in‑office with a great Portland, OR headquarters. Self‑stanners who thrive in ambiguity. We're a startup. If you need someone to tell you what to do every morning, this isn't the place; if you come alive solving hard problems with smart people, it is. Benefits (US‑based Full‑time): 100% medical, dental & vision insurance coverage for you; 30% coverage for dependents. Competitive salary and meaningful early‑stage equity. Unlimited PTO. Hybrid/Remote stipend. In‑office perks: snacks, drinks, coffee, ping‑pong table, and more — plus cuddles from Olive, our in‑office Doberman! Budget for intra‑office travel. 2–3 annual team meetups in person. How We Work: These four themes are how we think, build, and lead: Truth — Say the hard thing. We speak plainly, flag problems early, and share what's actually going on. Precision — Sign your name to it. Our customers make million‑dollar decisions on our data. We get the details right. Velocity — Speed compounds. Waiting doesn't. We ship daily and launch features every two to three weeks. Ownership — Own it, then solve it. We own outcomes, not tasks. If something's broken, we fix it. EEO: Prophetic Software is an equal opportunity employer. We are committed to creating an inclusive environment for all employees and applicants, and we make employment decisions without regard to race, color, religion, sex (including pregnancy, childbirth, or related medical conditions), gender identity or expression, sexual orientation, national origin, age, disability, genetic information, veteran or military status, marital status, or any other characteristic protected under applicable federal, state, or local law. We actively seek to build a diverse team and encourage candidates from underrepresented backgrounds to apply. Reasonable accommodations are available upon request for qualified individuals with disabilities throughout the application and employment process. #J-18808-Ljbffr Propheticsoftware
