What You'll Do
- Provide skilled nursing care to women during labor, delivery, and postpartum stages
- Monitor FHR, contractions, and maternal vital signs to ensure safety
- Collaborate with physicians and healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans
- Utilize EPIC electronic health records to document patient care accurately
- Assist with patient education and support during labor and delivery procedures
- Demonstrate charge nurse responsibilities and support team members as needed
- Ensure compliance with all clinical protocols and safety standards
What You Need
- Valid RN license in Louisiana or state reciprocity
- Minimum of 4 years experience in Labor & Delivery; charge experience preferred
- Current certifications: ACLS, BLS, AWHONN Intermediate, NRP
- Strong clinical skills in labor, delivery, and postpartum care
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Commitment to providing compassionate, patient-centered care
