Roles and Responsibilities
- Expert programming skills developing back-end cloud applications in Java
- Experience with Agile methodology
- Should have worked in development and maintenance engagements
- Be able to work as a developer across multiple modules/areas
- Be able to estimate tasks/activities at the WBS level as well as schedules
- Participate in Requirements understanding, create designs as well as resolve team issues to ensure quality and schedules are not impacted
- Stakeholder/Client interactions as needed
- Good communication and articulation skills
- Quick turnaround of defect fixing
- Able to guide junior team members and work with other team members
Primary skills: Core Java, J2EE, Webservices (WebSphere)/Micro-Services, Bootstrap, JSP, Servlets, XML, SOAP, RESTFUL, Structs / Spring batch, SQL
Secondary skills: JMS MQ, JPA / Hibernate, Angular, HTML5, j Query
Education Requirement: Bachelors, Masters in Computer Science/ Computer Engineering/ Information Systems/Information Technology/ Electrical Engineering/ Mechanical Engineering.
