The Esthetician is responsible for delivering high-quality skincare services and personalized guest experiences. This role focuses on providing professional treatments, educating guests on skincare, and maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment that reflects the spa’s standards of excellence. Essential Functions Perform a variety of skincare services, including facials, exfoliation treatments, masks, and hair removal (waxing) Conduct thorough skin analyses and recommend appropriate treatments and home care products Customize services based on individual guest needs and preferences Maintain detailed and accurate guest treatment records Ensure treatment rooms are clean, sanitized, and properly stocked at all times Uphold all health, safety, and sanitation standards in accordance with state regulations Promote and sell retail skincare products to support guest results Build and maintain strong guest relationships to encourage repeat business Stay current on industry trends, techniques, and product knowledge Collaborate with team members to create a seamless and exceptional guest experience Qualifications Previous experience in a spa, resort, or hospitality environment preferred Strong knowledge of skincare techniques, products, and industry standards Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays Professional appearance and demeanor Physical Requirements Ability to stand for extended periods Manual dexterity to perform detailed skincare treatments Ability to lift up to 25 lbs (products, supplies, equipment) Ability to bend, reach, and carry items as needed for event setup and breakdown. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and respond quickly during service.
