MDS Nurse

Exciting opportunity for an MDS Nurse with flexible hours for a full time position! Do you have an eye for detail? Do you take pride in producing accurate and reliable assessments? Are you knowledgeable to MDS 3.0, CAA’s, Medicare Guidelines, and Care Planning? Overview: The MDS Nurse is accountable for the federally mandated assessments. The incumbent will accomplish these tasks by coordinating and overseeing the interdisciplinary assessments and the care planning process. Responsibilities: Gather information on facility residents for assessments. Work within the time frames set by Federal and State Regulations for all MDS sections. Assess charts and assist with communicate with IDT to create applicable care plans for residents Prepare and track Medicare certifications and recertifications. Qualifications: Current NYS RN license Be knowledgeable to MDS 3.0, CAA’s, Medicare Guidelines, and Care Planning. Excellent written and oral communication, including English usage, grammar, and punctuation.
