Resident Field Service Technician

Execute service work as per work instructions and in accordance with ABB quality and safety guidelines. Deliver quality customer service planning and execute service work as per customer order and expectation. Communicate service work timeline and expectations to ensure customer retention. Identify opportunities to improve the customer’s operations and eliminate pain points while on-site. Perform field service tasks, preventative maintenance, identifying technical issues, and performing analysis through remote or on-site activity in service categories and products. Prepare material lists needed for service activity and ensure availability of appropriate quality materials, parts, and equipment for service activities. Act as trainer for field service associates and customers when needed. Requirements Associate's degree with 5+ years in field service, preventative maintenance, etc… HS diploma with 7+ years of experience. Experience working with DCS/QCS systems. PLC and networking experience. Mechanically inclined with some experience in electrical, basic tools, etc. Must be available for on-call 24/7 if needed.
