Snow Equipment Operator

Position Summary

The Snow Equipment Operator clears snow and ice from residential and commercial properties during winter storms. This position is for dependable, safety-conscious operators who can work flexible hours and respond quickly to weather events.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Operate snowplow trucks and salting equipment to clear snow and ice from parking lots, drive lanes, and designated areas.
• Complete pre- and post-trip inspections of vehicles and equipment.
• Respond promptly to snow and ice events, including early mornings, nights, and weekends as needed.
• Follow company safety procedures and coordinate with the Landscape Foreman and Production Manager to complete assigned work efficiently.
• Perform other snow-related duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation to and from job sites; CDL is a plus.
• Previous snowplow or similar equipment-operation experience is preferred.
• Ability to work long or irregular hours during winter storms.
• Must pass a pre-employment drug screening.
