Our client is seeking a Terminal Operations Specialist to join their team and support the day-to-day operations of a busy bulk terminal. • Work with customers, carriers, operations personnel, and internal teams

What You'll Do

As a Terminal Operations Specialist, you will play an important role in keeping terminal operations running smoothly. Your responsibilities will include:

• Process receipts, work orders, shipment documents, scale tickets, and operational reports
• Coordinate schedules with the operations team
• Maintain accurate inventory records and make adjustments when needed
• Communicate with customers regarding orders, inventory levels, shipment status, and discrepancies
• Respond to customer questions and resolve issues professionally and efficiently
• Communicate with carriers, surveyors, and other business partners
• Enter and maintain information in the Galahad Bulk inventory system
• Prepare required reports and assist with month-end closing activities
• Provide accurate information needed for billing
• Maintain organized and accurate records and files
• Follow all company security, safety, and compliance procedures
• Participate in required safety meetings
• Assist management with additional duties and projects as needed

Schedule & Compensation

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 11:00 AM-7:00 PM
On-Call: Every 4th weekend

Pay:
?? $23/hour - Temporary

Requirements:
3-5 years of prior experience in customer service. (Liquids operations preferred)

Prior experience with SAP. Proficient in Microsoft applications (Explorer, Outlook, Office, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint ).

High School Diploma or GED required
