MRI Technologist
New hire sign on bonus of up to $30,000 and up to $7,000 in relocation assistance is available. HOURS: Friday, Saturday and Sunday; 7:00 a.m. - 7:00 p.m. The MRI Technologist performs MRI imaging procedures, operates specialized equipment, and ensures high-quality diagnostic imaging.
The MRI Technologist:
- Performs a variety of technical procedures to apply magnetic resonance imaging for radiological diagnosis of patients of all ages.
- Applies knowledge of growth and development to appropriately care for all patients served.
- Operates highly specialized, technical equipment to obtain quality images. Performs IV contrast injections and other skills as required.
- Performs duties associated with processing patients, which may include scheduling, registration, file management and computer processing skills.
- Complies with all Carilion Clinic and Imaging policies, procedures and regulatory guidelines.
- Participates in the training of students and staff as assigned.
- Maintains appropriate registry and MRI registry. Must maintain CEU's in MRI for accreditation. Enhances personal and professional growth through participation in educational opportunities.
Compensation Range: $33.52 - $50.28
Employee pay is based on a variety of factors, including qualifications, credentials, education, and prior work experience. The compensation range does not include benefits or pension plan.
