Cyber Security Operations Analyst

• Support with our vulnerability management program, provide reporting and assist IT owners with security weaknesses
• Own the penetration test schedule for Odevo US, co-ordinating with third parties who provide our pen tests
• Work with software developers to help ensure secure coding practices are in place
• Assist in security incidents, determine root cause, and recommend corrective actions
• Participate in the design and implementation of security solutions
• Stay up-to-date on the latest security threats, vulnerabilities, and best practices
• Manage BAU (Business As Usual) activities, including responding to Security tickets and security queries
• Collaborate with other IT teams to ensure the security of systems and applications

Who You Are: You possess strong communication skills, enabling you to effectively engage with both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Your detail-oriented nature and proactive approach to problem-solving and solution design make you adept at working with complex security challenges, translating them into clear and actionable security insights.

Experience:

• 2+ years of proven experience in a Cyber Security role.
• Strong understanding of security principles, concepts, and technologies, particularly in vulnerability management.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Desired experience (but not required):

• Degree in Information Security or a related field
• Experience with Cloud Security in Microsoft Azure and Google Workspace environments
• Proficiency in scripting languages such as Bash, Python, and Kusto Query Language (KQL).
• Cyber security-related certifications (e.g., GIAC)
