Job Description

Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center is seeking a PRN Hospitalist Physician to join our collaborative inpatient care team. This position offers the opportunity to provide high-quality, patient-centered care in a supportive hospital environment while maintaining scheduling flexibility.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality, patient-centered care to hospitalized patients by managing medical conditions and developing treatment plans
• Conduct comprehensive medical histories and physical examinations
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests to diagnose and treat medical conditions
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans
• Ensure seamless communication to support optimal patient outcomes
• Apply evidence-based practices and remain current with medical advancements and research
• Adhere to hospital policies and procedures while maintaining high standards of patient safety and satisfaction

Qualifications

• Board Certification in Internal Medicine (ABIM)
• Current medical licensure in the state of Missouri or eligibility for licensure
• Strong clinical, interpersonal, and communication skills
• Proven ability to work effectively within a collaborative team environment
• Ability to work flexible 12-hour shifts, including days, nights, and weekends

Schedule

• PRN / As-Needed position
• Flexible 12-hour shift scheduling
• Day, night, and weekend coverage opportunities available
