Job Description: Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized nursing care for Emergency Department patients Provide routine and complex care in a fast-paced acute care environment Administer medications and treatments according to established protocols Monitor patients for changes in condition, treatment effectiveness, and potential side effects Document patient histories, symptoms, medications, treatments, and clinical outcomes Address the psychological, emotional, cultural, and social needs of patients and their families Educate patients, family members, and caregivers regarding treatment plans, follow-up care, and available resources Coordinate with physicians, nurses, and other clinical team members to ensure safe and efficient patient care Delegate responsibilities appropriately and assist with managing changing clinical priorities Complete required Emergency Department onboarding, orientation, and annual competency validations Qualifications: Active Texas RN license or multistate compact RN license Bachelor of Science in Nursing preferred At least one year of Emergency Department or related acute care nursing experience preferred Current BLS certification required at the time of hire ACLS certification required or obtained within the applicable onboarding period PALS certification required or obtained within the applicable onboarding period TNCC certification required or obtained within the applicable onboarding period Strong clinical judgment, communication, documentation, and patient care skills Schedule: Full Time 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM Jobot is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
