Housekeeping/Laundry Supervisor Position Summary Beloit Health and Rehabilitation Center is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeping/Laundry Supervisor to lead our environmental services team. In this role, you will oversee the daily operations of the housekeeping and laundry departments, ensuring a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for residents, visitors, and staff. The ideal candidate is a strong leader who is committed to maintaining high standards of cleanliness, regulatory compliance, and resident satisfaction. Essential Responsibilities Assume responsibility and accountability for the supervision of the housekeeping and laundry departments. Oversee the day-to-day activities of housekeeping and laundry staff. Ensure all cleaning schedules, laundry services, and work assignments are completed accurately and efficiently. Assign daily tasks and monitor workflow to meet departmental and facility needs. Ensure staff perform duties in accordance with established housekeeping procedures, safety standards, and infection control guidelines. Foster a positive, professional, and resident-centered atmosphere throughout the facility. Participate in employee performance evaluations and provide ongoing coaching and support. Complete and maintain required reports, records, and departmental documentation in a timely manner. Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, ensuring their proper usage, storage, and maintenance. Ensure compliance with all facility policies, regulatory requirements, safety standards, and infection prevention protocols. Maintain confidentiality and comply with all policies regarding resident information and electronic systems access. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required. Previous housekeeping experience in a healthcare, long-term care, assisted living, rehabilitation, or similar setting preferred. Prior supervisory or leadership experience preferred. Knowledge of housekeeping procedures, cleaning chemicals, equipment operation, and workplace safety practices. Strong organizational, communication, problem-solving, and leadership skills.
