SR Load Supervisor

Job Summary Central Transport is an LTL carrier seeking a manager to oversee terminal operations in Atlanta, GA. The position involves managing loading, traffic, and a team of drivers and dock staff to meet production schedule and safety standards. Location & Schedule 2700 Moreland Ave SE, Atlanta, GA 30315 Shift: 1:00 AM–11:00 AM, Tuesday–Saturday Salary: $60,000–$75,000 Qualifications Experience in transportation, cross‑docking, or shipping & receiving (preferably LTL) Familiar with customs and cross‑border transportation Strong leadership qualities Commitment to customer service excellence Aptitude for technology Ability to multi‑task and be detail oriented Excellent written & verbal communication Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred but not required Responsibilities Oversee outbound operations at a designated terminal dock section Load, manage forklift traffic, and oversee picking/sortation of palletized freight Manage up to 30 local LTL drivers and dock personnel to meet production schedule Build loads based on available labor and freight levels using independent judgement Ensure proper load of carriers by monitoring cube and weight of trailers Provide leadership and accountability to drivers, dock workers, and dock hand Monitor dock production to meet or exceed KPI goals Monitor hours and overtime Maintain a safe work environment compliant with state and federal DOT/OSHA standards Ensure compliance with company operational model Support a culture of excellence in product quality for internal and external customers Benefits Paid Time Off (PTO) Medical/Dental Insurance Flexible Spending Account Life Insurance #J-18808-Ljbffr CENTRAL TRANSPORT LLC
