Schedule / Job Type

Contract | 12-Hour Night Shifts | Every Other Weekend | Expected 72 Hours Biweekly (on-call hours not included)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on a Medical/Surgical Telemetry unit during 12-hour night shifts
• Monitor and interpret telemetry data, responding appropriately to changes in patient condition
• Document all patient care activities accurately using EPIC
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans
• Float to an additional affiliated hospital location as needed to support staffing requirements

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• BLS certification through the American Heart Association (AHA) required
• EPIC proficiency required
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a Medical/Surgical or Telemetry setting
• Must successfully pass an onsite competency assessment administered on day one of orientation (one attempt only); candidates will have up to 2 attempts to pass Relias testing during onboarding in preparation for the onsite assessment
• Must be available to float to an affiliated hospital location as needed

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience in a fast-paced acute care environment
• Strong telemetry monitoring and rhythm interpretation skills
• Experience working within large health system environments
