About the Position

Job Title: MRI Technologist Profession: Radiology / Cardiology Specialty: MRI Tech Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day 3x12-Hour Hours per Shift: 10:00 - 22:30 Experience: 2 years required License: NC or Compact License pending acceptable for submittal Certifications: ARRT MR, ARRT R, BLS Must-Have: Travel experience is required Previous experience in a general community hospital setting is required Experience with adult acute care, adult outpatient, ER/Trauma, and special imaging procedures Familiarity with GE and Philips equipment Ability to start peripheral IVs and prepare/administer contrast media Description: Unit will accept contracts from 13 weeks up to February 27, 2027, to manage holiday staffing needs. RTO after booking is not permitted and cannot be resolved on site. Any call-offs or additional RTO may result in cancellation and DNR. The unit sees MSK, neurological, and body cases. General MRI examinations will be performed, including some anesthesia cases; no biopsies or other procedures will be conducted in MRI. Equipment includes GE 1.5T scanners and Phillips physiological monitors. The unit operates under an established medication, documentation, and communication system. Travel candidates must be open to floating within or near the facility as per job description. Up to 7 days of RTO is allowed with prior approval; however, no additional RTO may be requested after signing. Professionals will work in a setting with diverse patient demographics including adolescents, adults, and geriatrics. All candidates must complete required modules prior to starting work.
