Pay Grade 7: $22.05–$28.90* (+$6/hr Overnight Shift Differential)

The Role

The Critical Care Technician primarily assists licensed nursing staff in the Intensive Care Unit through:

• Clinical Support: Delivery of basic care under the supervision of a registered professional nurse.

• Tech Management: Managing ICU technology, specialized supplies, and vital record keeping.

• Communication: Enhancing flow between healthcare providers to optimize resource use.

• Monitoring: Maintaining high attention to detail in cardiac and vital sign data.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent.

• Required Experience: Two (2) or more years of previous patient care or EMS background.

• Technical Skills: Proficiency in computer use and program applications.

• Acuity Management: Ability to prioritize workload in a fluctuating, high-acute environment.

• Certifications: Must maintain current BLS.

• Requirement: Must pass Health Stream: Adult Learn Rhythms within 60 days of hire.
