Level 1 or Level 2 trauma experience and 2+ years experience in sterile processing required. Will allow first time travelers ONLY IF they have 3 years of experience and level 1 trauma experience, otherwise travel experience is required. Proficient in decontamination, assembly, sterilization, case carts and scope reprocessing. Also proficient in the following service lines: Ortho, Neuro, CT, Trauma, Vascular, Oral, Plastics, ENT, and General surgeries. No time off granted requests during first contract. Core (HIPAA) exams required to be completed for compliance. No call required. Profile MUST include type of service line instrument experience (GYN, ortho, etc)- must have experience in all but 2 of listed services. Must be experienced with fiber optics. All of these requirements are hard stop. If profile doesn't contain type of service line instrument experience- screen to manager. Special Equipment: ROBOTICS REQUIRED: Davinci S,SP, Xi,SPID Instrument Tracking: PREFERRED: SPM, Maestro, Censitrac SPD Decontam Equipment:REQUIRED: BoroscopesReturn Staff Policy: Gone from all UK affiliated facilities for 6 months to return as traveler License Hits: University of Kentucky WILL NOT accept any licensure hits. If you are submitting a traveler with a license hit, the submission will be rejected. PLEASE READ: For this health system- we MUST know at time of submission if they have previously worked at this facility. This must be noted on the profile to check their eligibility for rehire. Rehire eligibility at UK is checked by HR every Friday and should this eligibility check come back as ineligible post-offer, your traveler may be cancelled.
