Overview MRI Technologist – Radiology MRI specialty in Rochester, NY, US. Travel assignment starting 09/21/2026 for 13 weeks with a weekly pay range of $2,887–$3,005. No guaranteed hours. Shift: Sunday through Thursday, 10:00 PM–6:30 AM with holidays on-call and callback as needed. Work setting is a hospital imaging department. Key Highlights Start date: 09/21/2026 Contract duration: 13 weeks Weekly pay: $2,887–$3,005 per week Shift: Sunday–Thursday, 10:00 PM–6:30 AM with holiday/on-call coverage Setting: hospital imaging department Travel assignment with dedicated support from Healthforce Healthcare LLC Responsibilities Prepare patients for MRI procedures, explain the process, and address patient concerns to promote comfort and cooperation Operate the MRI system (GE scanner preferred) to acquire high-quality diagnostic images, adjusting protocols as needed Ensure a safe, clean, and organized scanning environment; follow infection control and safety protocols Administer IV contrast when necessary and document all procedures accurately Coordinate with physicians and radiologists to deliver timely imaging results and facilitate appropriate patient care Maintain patient confidentiality and complete required documentation, including image storage and workflow handoffs Requirements Education: Associate degree in magnetic resonance imaging or radiology Certification: ARRT certification (MRI preferred); Injection Certification required Licensure: NYS Radiologic Technologist license required or willingness to obtain after starting Experience: Minimum 2 years of MRI experience; GE scanner experience required Additional: BLS (American Heart Association); Level 1 Trauma Center experience; ability to stand for extended periods and perform night/evening shifts with on-call duties Benefits and Support Weekly pay range provided: $2,887–$3,005 per week 13-week travel assignment with potential extension opportunities Credentialing and licensing assistance to meet job requirements Ongoing assignment support from Healthforce Healthcare LLC Please note: Pay rates and guaranteed hours are estimates and may vary.
