MRICU: Medical Respiratory Intensive Care Unit

Where You Will Work:

MRICU: The Medical/Respiratory ICU at St. Luke's Medical Center provides care for a high acuity, critically ill patient population. This opportunity provides considerable growth in practice for RN's seeking to develop critical care skills. Support and education are provided to upscale nursing practice through various opportunities including the Critical Care Academy, preceptorship, hands on training and certification (ACLS, NIHSS, CRRT) and CBT training. Nurses develop core and continued skills necessary to care for critically ill patients. Candidates should have at least one year's experience in adult inpatient acute care.

We're Looking For:

• Completion of an accredited or approved program in nursing
• Candidates must have at least 1 year of RN experience
• Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the teammate practices
• Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association

What You'll Do:

• As a skilled and compassionate RN, you will play a pivotal role in providing and coordinating comprehensive patient care through the nursing process to deliver safe, therapeutic care in accordance with established standards, policies, and procedures.
• Using evidence-based practice, clinical decision making, compassion, and skills communication while leading efforts to create the safest patient environment and the best patient experience across the continuum.
